Frequently Asked Questions
We are highly capable and experienced in catering for a number of different events and venues including Wedding Receptions, Club/Bar Work and Corporate Events. We can help with DJs, Saxophonists and Acoustic Acts, among other forms of entertainment.
As you can imagine all events are different – whether it be the occasion, the type of venue or the guests attending. Future Media price events on the information that you supply us with and we aim to not only provide you with a competitive price but also great value for money. Many hotels, venues and bars will not let acts and entertainment perform unless they have these specific requirements. Future Media have full public liability insurance up to the value of £5,000,000 and all of our equipment is regularly P.A.T tested; this information can be sent to the venue at no extra charge prior to the event if required.
When booking with us, not only do we send out a personalised confirmation email with a few brief details of the event, we also send out a booking agreement via DocuSign for you to electronically sign to put your mind at ease that the booking is confirmed. With regards to payment we do ask for a 40% deposit for the event but we are also flexible to suit your needs, where alternative payment methods can be arranged. We accept several forms of payment including BACS, cheque and PayPal.
As a company we are VAT registered… Our VAT number is included on all of our invoices.
Future Media are based in South Devon and we cover a number of areas around Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. However, at a small cost we are willing to travel greater distances to provide you with great entertainment whatever service you require. We regularly work in London, Birmingham and Bristol.
You are more than welcome to request a specific DJ at your event or venue and we aim to supply you with the DJ that you require. However, sometimes it is not always possible to do this due to other commitments the DJ may have, but we strive to work around this and intend to provide you with the individual you would like.

As we are sure you will appreciate, each event and venue is different which means our DJs and entertainment will dress to suit the occasion. If it is a wedding reception, corporate event or ball, they will be smartly dressed and suited to the event. For other events, such as club and bar work; our DJs and entertainment dress in a more casual way, unless requested otherwise.
